Emily Campbell made her Commonwealth Games debut on the Gold Coast.

Emily, from Nottingham, joined the other weightlifters in Team England’s squad to compete at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre in the women’s +90kg category and won a bronze medal. She is coached by Dave sawyer and Cyril Martin at Atlas Weightlifting Club.

She made history at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when she won Silver medal for team GB becoming the first woman to win a weightlifting medal for Britain.
